    I dreamed when I was young how it would be.

    It is not that way forgive me for I have failed

    I wanted to changed things and I tried I thought

    It did not change forgive me for I have failed

    I all too often put my own personal goals ahead of yours

    I was wrong to do this forgive me for I have failed

    I turned my back on you and ignored your pleas

    Ignoring you showed my ignorance forgive me for I have failed

    I watched as others tried and I did nothing

    Knowing they were right forgive me for I have failed

    I was asked to speak my peace showing my support

    I remained silent forgive me for I have failed

    Now there is no time left

    Forgive me for I have failed

    I have wasted my life

    Forgive me
